The Chief Executive, John Delaney, and the Technical Director, Packie Bonner recently launched the first three booklets of the FAI's Volunteer Education Programme [Volunteer Management, The Fundamentals of Fundraising, and A Guide to Running Your Football Club]. The programme resources are aimed at supporting volunteers who hold administration roles within clubs and leagues. The training consists of workshops on Volunteer Management, Fundraising, Web Design, and Ground Keeping. Mr David Blood, President of the Association said "these resources will provide concrete advice and support for volunteers in the running of leagues and clubs." Mark Carrigan, of Brakeley Fundraising and Management Consultants, said "The FAI is being progressive with their approach to volunteering and fundraising. Their education programme is designed to provide all clubs with the practical steps to implement club planning and sustainable development."
