There will be 8 teams in the Youth league this season: Newmarket Celtic, Corofin Harps, Avenue Utd, Lifford, Moneypoint, Moher Celtic, Bridge Utd & Newtown.
Games will commence on 11th August with matches played every Saturday and week evenings until 5th September. There will be no postponements granted to any club before the 5th September. At this stage every club will have played 8 matches and there will be a 2 week break to finalise the Clare Youths panel for the season.
There will be possibly 4 teams in the U17 league this season: Newtown, Bunratty, Turnpike Rovers, & Kildysart. Games will commence on 15th September.
Any club that gives walkovers in Youth or U17 league games when they are out of the league will not be allowed participate in local Cup competitions.
Every U16 player must also be registered to play U17, Youth and Junior matches. The Schoolboys league is a different league. Any player not registered that appears on match card will result in forfeit of match, suspension and large fine for club.
All Youth and U17 players registered are eligible to play Junior matches for A or B teams with no limit on number of matches.
