In order for a club to get a match off for a bereavement it must be a mother, father, brother or sister of a player in your club. Matches will only be postponed for a player's grandparent living in the local area.
If a player gets sent off in a match it's an automatic one match ban with no exceptions. We recommend that you write to the registrar to explain your side of the events if you get a red card as depending on referee's report you may get more than a one match ban..
If a player gets sent off in a FAI or Munster match and your team wins then that player is automatically banned for the next match in that competition. If your team loses, players are automatically banned from the next domestic fixture.
If a player gets sent off in a domestic Clare Cup or League match he is automatically banned for the next domestic Clare Cup or League match (whichever game takes place first). Any queries contact any member of the League committee. (FAI Rule 112 section 4)
