Kilrush Rangers won the double in the second division after a tremendous season for the West Clare club. In September they had a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newmarket Celtic B at the county grounds after coming from 2-0 down. In the league they won fourteen of their eighteen games and deservedly won the title.
