The first ever Senior Introductory Coaching Course to be run in the county took place on Feb 20th-22nd at St Flannan's College in Ennis. The course run by our CDO Denis Hynes and the FAI was a big success. Everyone that took part enjoyed the course and learned a lot. This course is aimed at adult players and is the starting requirement to be qualified at this level.

At the CDSL AGM in 2008 clubs unanimously passed a motion by Connolly Celtic that all club team managers must hold coaching certs.
This will become a rule from start 2009/10 season.
